About Us

We are Daisy Garnett and Francesca Martin, two arts and style journalists who met whilst working together at Vogue magazine. We set up A-LittleBird in late 2010 to recommend things that we love and feel passionately about – we (or a contributor) happily spend our own time and money trying everything on the site personally.

Daisy Garnett writes for Vogue, The New York Times and The Saturday Telegraph magazine. She is also the author of Cooking Lessons: Tales from the Kitchen and Other Stories.

Francesca Martin is a contributing editor to Harper’s Bazaar and former editor of the Guardian Arts Diary.
