EVENT EXPIRED

We’ve flagged up the 5×15 short talk events before (five people each giving 15 minute talks – if you missed our previous post on them, see it here) but we think this one sounds especially good.  Thomas Heatherwick (who just recently had an exhibition at the V&A, responsible for the 2012 Summer Olympics flame cauldron, the Paddington curling bridge and much, much more) will be talking about design for life; Dan Pearson (gardener extraordinaire) will be discussing gardens that inspire him; Tracy Chevalier (author of books such as Girl with a Pearl Earring) will be illuminating the art of writing and Giles Duley (British photojournalist) will be talking about Afghanistan.  It’s a great mix of people and subjects and is sure to produce much food for thought.  Book now.
