Food: Feast food festival

We flagged up the Feast food festival which happened earlier this summer (and sold out) so we’re looking forward to the Christmas version which starts today. Held in an old mail sorting office in Islington which is currently derelict (though soon to be developed into luxury apartments), there will be street food vendors and chefs from London’s top restaurants at various stalls and pop-up restaurants. HIX will be there along with Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany, Mishkin’s, Lily Vanilli, Yum Bun and Pizza Pilgrims. Bompass and Parr will be creating a gastronomic event, there’ll be live music and dj sets and you can even buy Christmas trees too – all in all, a really festive feast.
