Sample sale: Issa London

We first got to know the lovely Daniella Helayel, creator and designer of Issa London, when we were working at Vogue. We were lucky enough to visit her showroom (then in her flat) and buy some of her early designs (which we’ve worn and worn and are still wearing now). And my, has her business grown from then!  And we know why – the fabric of the dresses is clingy but not bum-clenching and the cuts are incredibly flattering for anybody who has more of a woman’s figure – in on the waist and out but not bunching over the hips. And it isn’t just the Kate Middleton style of dresses that Issa make either – there are fab floaty lounging-by-the-pool cover ups, to-the-floor crepe evening dresses and brilliantly coloured day dresses.
