Beauty: Yes to, organic beauty products that work brilliantly (and don’t cost the earth)

A while ago, we realised that we didn’t like the look of some of the ingredients in our shampoo, particularly the Sodium Laureth Sulfates and Parabens (both thought to be carcinogenic). So we decided to switch to a more natural and organic product but it wasn’t easy to find something that was chemical free, not too expensive (some of the ‘organic’ products out there are surprisingly pricey), and that actually worked. We made our way through quite a few products that left our hair knotted and fly-away until hurrah, we discovered Yes to. Made up of at least 95% natural ingredients, with recyclable packaging, it isn’t tested on animals (in fact, Peta has awarded them best beauty brand twice) and it’s reasonably priced. It’s made with organic veg and fruit and is free of all the nasty things: parabens, petroleum, SLS and phthalates. But best of all, it works brilliantly. There are products for face, body, hair and even babies (which are 100% natural) and four different types to choose from: Yes to Carrots to nourish, Yes to Cucumber to soothe, Yes to Tomatoes to clarify and Yes to Blueberries for anti-aging. And our favourite products? The Yes to Tomatoes shampoo and the Yes To Carrots conditioner for sleek, shiny and healthy-looking hair.
