EVENT EXPIRED
This new high-tech production of the first instalment of CS Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia series is sure to be a huge hit this summer. Directed by Rupert Goold (Artistic Director of Headlong Theatre and an Associate Director of the RSC) and Michael Fentiman, it will be set in a temporary big-top tent with a surround projection stage, special effects and puppetry. With a backdrop of Kensington Gardens where there will be lawns set aside for picnics and bars open for drinks, even if you bring your own food, it won’t be the cheapest day out. Tickets start at £18.75 for children and £25 for adults, so roughly about the same price as a West End family theatre trip but we think it will be worth it. For a peak through the cupboard door into the magical land of Narnia, take a look at the trailer here: http://lionwitchtheshow.com.
