Talk: book now for Miranda July

Screen shot 2011-09-28 at 23.05.30
When: 22 Oct, 2.30pm

EVENT EXPIRED

If you haven’t seen any of Miranda July’s films or read any of her short stories but you like the work of Wes Anderson and Spike Jonze, then you’re in for such a treat during the London Film Festival next month. Artist (she’s had work shown at the Guggenheim, Whitney and MOMA), writer (her short stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Paris Review and were published as a collection in 2007), filmmaker and actress (The Future, her latest film is showing nationwide from November 4), her work is beautiful, idiosyncratic and endearing. In person, she’s as quirky, thoughtful, inspiring and articulate as you’d expect which is why tickets for her appearance at The Tate sold out like hot cakes and there are only a handful left to hear her talk earlier in the day at the NFT masterclass. Book now before they disappear completely.
