Children: Easter bonnet workshop at The Foundling Museum

EVENT EXPIRED
Established in 1739 by shipbuilder and philanthropist, Thomas Coram, the Foundling Hospital took in sickly children from poverty-stricken backgrounds. Its fascinating and deeply moving history is revealed in this wonderful little Bloomsbury museum, overlooking Coram’s Fields playground. The Museum always has a raft of inspiring children’s activities to choose from, including Family Fun Days – free drop-in sessions that are held on the first Saturday of each month, and every Thursday and Friday during school holidays. This Easter, there’s an especially great workshop when children between 3 and 12 years-old can learn how to make an Easter bonnet or tricon hat. You don’t need to book, but do get there early to ensure a space.
