EVENT EXPIRED
It’s not an obvious match putting Bridget Riley, one of Britain’s best female painters known for her graphic prints, alongside artists such as Raphael and van Eyck. And actually, to tell you the truth we didn’t really get it when we heard about the show. But then we went and watched the accompanying short video which brilliantly shows how Riley drew direct inspiration from the grand masters. The exhibition is small, only two rooms, with one picture scrawled over an entire wall and we promise, you’ll come out of the exhibition feeling all the cleverer for having seen it.
