Shopping: a new collaboration between Liberty and Target
When: On sale 29 MarchGiving Selfridges quite a run for their money at the moment, Liberty seem determined to prove they are anything but old-fashioned (if in doubt, check out their current window displays of rather risqué quilts). One of their latest contemporary collaborations is with the mass-market American shop Target and the result, which goes on sale on Monday, is an array of teapots, baby cribs, piggy banks, watering cans, bikes and pretty much anything else you can think of that can be covered in Liberty print, all starting at a bargain £5. And if the thought of all those swirling prints sounds a bit overwhelming, there is even help at hand: find the ideal pattern that matches your personality for your very own ‘patternality’ at http://apps.facebook.com/patternality/.
